Using the hashtag #permissionnotgranted on X in conjunction with a humorous skit starring Dave Grohl and Lionel Richie, Sharon Osbourne also made fun of the rapper.
The rock star claimed that West had requested to use a clip from an Iron Man live performance in 1983.
However, Osbourne said in a post on X that he “refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many”.
“He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night,” the 75-year-old Osbourne continued. I do not wish to be associated with this individual.”
West has not yet replied, despite releasing songs from the Vultures joint album this week.
It’s thought that the sample Osbourne is referring to is from the song Carnival.
Ye, also known as West, expressed regret to the Jewish community in December, saying, “I apologize for any unintentional outburst caused by my words or actions.”
The rapper’s X account was previously suspended multiple times for posting a photograph of a swastika, declaring he was “going death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE,” and expressing a liking for Hitler.
In an Instagram post, he further charged that record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs was under the influence of “the Jewish people”.
