Senator Barrister Ali Zafar of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stated on Thursday that the apology was “not good enough” to justify the detention of party leaders.
“The premier or interior minister will have to tender the resignation,” Zafar stated in a statement made at a Senate session. It will be up to your conscience if you choose not to comply with this.”
“The arrest of the lawmakers from the Parliament House is condemnable,” stated Zafar.
‘Political Objectives’
A few days ago, prominent PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan said that the goal of the current administration was to fulfill its “political objectives.”
“The government is looking to join hands with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, as the latter is having the importance right now,” Khan stated in response to a question on the Samaa TV program.
