The Duke of Sussex allegedly does not want his son Prince Archie to carry on the traditions of his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, according to a close friend of Prince Harry’s.
In 2019, days after Meghan Markle and Harry welcomed Prince Archie, Dr. Jane Goodall reportedly paid them a visit, as reported by the Mirror and Daily Record.
In his book, Robert Lacey, the royal novelist, asserts that after the interview, Dr. Goodall was summoned to Frogmore Cottage and given permission to hold Archie.
According to the royal expert, Meghan entered the room as the interview was coming to an end. She gave the 85-year-old Goodall the infant Archie while she was carefully holding him in her arms.”
Dr. Goodall was reported in the publication recounting the incident and saying that Archie should be taught the royal way of life.
“He (Archie) was very tiny and very sleepy,” she recalled. I believe I was among the first people to give him a hug outside of the family. I told Archie he would have to learn how to do the Queen’s Wave.
