Imran Khan was given the option to leave the nation, but he declined, pledging to stay and accept the consequences, according to former president Dr. Arif Alvi, who made this revelation on Wednesday.
Speaking at a gathering in Faisalabad, Alvi said that Imran Khan’s determination to stay in his current location demonstrates his bravery.
Since Ayub Khan’s time, accountability has never been given importance in Pakistan, according to Alvi, who bemoaned the lack of it.
He conveyed his dissatisfaction and claimed to have given up on the procedure.
Alvi applauded the Islamabad High Court’s ruling in the cipher case, describing it as a just verdict because the complaint lacked merit.
Arif Alvi claimed that Imran Khan declined an offer to leave Pakistan.
