FAISALABAD: Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is allegedly being told to “strike a deal and leave the country,” according to former president and PTI leader Dr. Arif Alvi, who made this accusation one day after outlining his party’s stance on political conversations.
Alvi stated that Khan turned down the offer and made the decision to stay in the nation “at any cost” during a Wednesday interview with reporters in Faisalabad.
The former president foresaw utter defeat for those who were working together to condemn Khan, the former prime minister.
The politician responded to offers of dialogue by stating that his party is prepared to have discussions with “stakeholders but not with the non-stakeholders.” He urged all parties involved to put compassion ahead of animosity.
In addition, he stated that with the release of the PTI founder, the stakeholders shouldn’t be concerned about any concerns. Alvi sought the reinstatement of the party’s mandate, the release of the outgoing prime minister, and the supremacy of the law in the nation.
Alvi went on to say that his party was unable to remove the current government, which he claimed was “powerless” since it had obtained its position through the use of “Form 47” and lacked “authority” to make decisions.
He declared yesterday that his party would have talks with the actual decision-maker.
