On Wednesday, a museum in Milan will open a retrospective honoring Giorgio Armani’s work for fifty years. The exhibition will feature over 100 pieces, including rare gowns and outfits that typified the renowned Italian designer’s subtle elegance.
Armani, referred to as “King Giorgio” in the fashion industry, passed away in Milan earlier this month at the age of 91. He had a close personal and professional relationship with the city.
