British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump celebrated the strengthening of their countries’ “special relationship” on Thursday, claiming that a series of agreements totaling 250 billion pounds had rendered the ties “unbreakable.”
The two leaders welcomed and commended some of the top names in U.S. and UK business at the beginning of a business reception for their investments in transactions ranging from energy to technology, which helped to strengthen links between the two countries.
Trump called the second day of his historic second state visit to Britain a “exquisite honor” following a day filled with pomp and circumstance, which included a “fantastic” state banquet with King Charles at Windsor Castle.
