Indian media indicates that Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has strictly ordered the Asia Cup 2025 trophy to be locked in Dubai.
According to sources, Naqvi has made it very clear that no one is to handle, transport, or give the trophy to anybody else without his express consent. Ahead of the competition next year, tensions between cricket boards are on the rise, which is why the instruction was issued.
According to PCB officials, the trophy shouldn’t be moved without Mohsin Naqvi’s consent, according to Indian media.
The Indian team is invited by Naqvi to pick up the trophy in person.
Mohsin Naqvi reportedly made the mildly scathing comment that the Indian cricket team is welcome to visit Dubai at any time to pick up the trophy directly from him.
