Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has come under fire from Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, who claims that Khan brought “thousands of Taliban” into Pakistan and permitted them to establish themselves there.
Asif claimed in a post on X (previously Twitter) that Pakistan is still dealing with the fatal repercussions of their choices, as the country still faces terrorism and militancy.
“PTI is still discussing talks with terrorists.”
According to Asif, Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) still supports negotiations with militant organizations. He denounced the position, pointing out that the nation has already suffered years of bloodshed and suffering as a result of fruitless peace initiatives.
