When Price was eight years old, she stated in a school letter that her three life goals were to compete at the Olympics, play football for Wales internationally, and become a world kickboxing champion.
As an international football player and four-time world kickboxing champion, Price has realized her childhood aspirations.
She will now attempt to become the first female and the 14th world champion boxer from Wales when she fights American Jessica McCaskill for the WBA, IBO, and Ring Magazine welterweight belts at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena.
Before she even became a professional, Price accomplished a goal from her childhood bucket list, and she now says she is concentrating on the “legacy” aspect of her work.
“I want to do for Wales what Katie Taylor has done for Ireland,” she states.
