Chip the cat plays the lead character Alfie, who, along with his owner Elly (Dallas Howard), a spy novelist, escapes abduction when her books start to reveal the workings of a dark underground organization.
The couple’s cat, Chip, appears in the movie with German model and actress Claudia Schiffer, who has been married to Vaughn since 2002.
On Wednesday, Schiffer walked the red carpet outside the Odeon theater in Leicester Square, London, while holding her cherished cat in an argyle-patterned backpack cat carrier with air holes and a perspex dome that allowed Chip to peek out.
Before going on stage with the rest of the celebrity cast inside the theater, the couple posed for pictures with the paparazzi.
Chip portrays Alfie, who, along with his owner Elly (played by Bryce Dallas Howard in Jurassic World), is a spy novelist. Together, they prevent Elly’s books from being taken by exposing the workings of a shadowy underground organization.
A staggering ensemble cast of actors, including pop sensation Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad, John Cena, Pulp Fiction’s Samuel L. Jackson, and former Superman actor Henry Cavill, star in the movie.
Videos of the pet moggie on stage at the premiere in Dallas Howard’s arms were shared on the cat’s Instagram account, which has amassed over 13,000 followers.
