After being frequently likened to Damon Hunters, the Korean band ATEEZ has finally made their voice heard.
For those who don’t know, on June 20, 2025, Netflix released K-Pop Demon Hunters, an animated musical urban fantasy movie. Fans have speculated that the fictional boy band the Saja Boys may have drawn influence from the real-life Korean group ATEEZ since the show’s debut on the streaming service.
Kang Yeosang of ATEEZ discussed the group’s new single in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, claiming that it features a daring, “sinister” music video that may be set in an underground club or Gwi-Ma’s underworld.
“I’ve seen fans compare [our song] ‘In Your Fantasy’ to the K-Pop Demon Hunters ‘Idol’ performance, and I think it makes sense in a way,” the 26-year-old singer stated.
