The Ministry of Law has emphasized that there hasn’t been any formal announcement on the appointment of Pakistan’s next chief justice.
In response to social media rumors that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had been named the next chief justice, the ministry declared the announcement to be fraudulent.
The ministry acknowledged in a formal statement that any such appointment has not yet been completed and that the topic is still being reviewed. They cautioned against the dissemination of false information and asked the public to rely on reputable sources for official updates.
It is important to remember that Pakistan’s Chief Justice, Qazi Faez Isa, will retire on October 25.
