ISLAMABAD: Sarfaraz Bugti, the chief minister of Balochistan, criticized the Afghan government on Thursday for allegedly giving “state patronage” to terrorists who operate from their territory.
CM Bugti stated during a news conference in the federal capital that terrorists can readily locate safe havens and training camps in Afghanistan.
There, they are supported by the state. “Afghan citizens were among the Khawarij who were recently killed,” he stated.
Bugti called on the Afghan interim government to uphold the Doha deal, which said that they would not permit the use of their territory against any nation.
Pakistan has long called on the Afghan government to sever its connections with organizations that commit acts of terrorism in the nation.
