On Friday, former Pakistani cricket player Basit Ali observed that on the third day of the first Test at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, the Bangladeshi batsmen had completely overwhelmed the Pakistani bowling and management teams.
Posting his opinions on his YouTube channel, Ali praised Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam’s batting skills, as he amassed a 93-run knock. He also appreciated Mominul Haque’s counteroffensive against Pakistan’s bowlers.
Speaking highly of Mushfiqur Rahim, he said, “Mushfiqur Rahim has played exactly in the way the senior player in the team has to.”
“Litton Das has advised the Pakistan management that you should not include the four fast bowlers but rather eight pacers,” said Ali, criticizing the Pakistani team for choosing four pacers for the match instead of a specialist spinner.
