In Thursday’s ICC Women’s World Cup match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Bangladesh Women defeated Pakistan by seven wickets.
Bangladesh reached the objective in the 32nd over for the cost of three wickets while chasing a score of 130 runs set by Pakistan. With 54 runs, Rubya Haider was the leading scorer. Fatima Sana, Diana Baig, and Rameen Shamim each claimed one wicket for Pakistan.
Pakistan chose to bat first after winning the toss earlier. In 38.3 overs, Pakistan was bowled out for 129 runs.
Fatima Sana, the captain of Pakistan, stated after the game that the early wickets in the first overs altered the outcome of the match.
