A rise in phony SMS messages purporting to be official traffic challans has prompted the Karachi Traffic Police to issue a warning to the public.
According to the department, the texts are “misleading” and unrelated to any platform or government office.
On Monday, the Karachi Traffic Police warned the public about an increase in phony SMS messages that purport to be official traffic challans and instruct recipients to pay via EasyPaisa.
