Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto, has reconnected with Maulana Fazlur Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-JUI-F (JUI-F) in an attempt to ramrod constitutional revisions pertaining to judicial reforms.
Leading the PPP mission was Bhutto, accompanied by prominent individuals such as Syed Khurshid Shah, Naveed Qamar, and Murtaza Wahab.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Maulana Abdul Wasay, Asad Mehmood, Kamran Murtaza, Usman Badini, and Maulana Misbahuddin, on the other hand, were also present at the huddle representing JUI-F.
The meeting, according to JUI spokesperson Syed Khurshid Shah, was a part of a continuing conversation to bring different political stakeholders on board with the proposed revisions.
“We have taken Maulana Fazlur Rehman into confidence and discussed the previously contentious issues,” Khurshid Shah declared.
