Authorities stated that a body was found in a Texas lake on Monday, at the same location where other bodies have been found recently.
A body was observed by a 911 caller in Austin’s Lady Bird Lake, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. According to Fox Austin, the unidentified person was pronounced deceased at 1:52 p.m.
In the last few months, a number of other bodies have been found in the lake. Since last year, at least five bodies have been discovered at the lake, which is a section of the Colorado River that flows through Austin’s downtown.

Men in their 30s or so who had been drinking on adjacent Rainey Street in the downtown of the city were found dead in the water in the prior Lady Bird Lake deaths.
A week after Jason John, 30, was last seen on Rainey Street, which boasts a well-liked row of clubs close to the river, police discovered him dead in Lady Bird Lake in February. He fell into the water, and an autopsy report that Fox News Digital was able to obtain states that a “transient bystander” saw him stumble.
The man who was discovered dead in the same area of water on March 5 has been identified as 40-year-old Clifton Axtell. On April 1, the day after he was last observed at a food truck on Rainey Street, Jonathan Honey, 33, was discovered. In April, John Christopher Hays-Clark, 30, was also recovered; he had washed up close to a dam, approximately two miles downstream from the locations of the other two bodies.
