RAWALPINDI: An accountability court on Monday moved the new Toshakhana reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to an appropriate court following the Supreme Court’s historic ruling on the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) modifications.
The development was seen at a bail hearing for the imprisoned premier and former first lady in the ongoing Toshakhana case over a set of jewelry that the Saudi crown prince had given them.
Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich of the accountability court heard the PTI founder’s and his wife’s bail requests in a makeshift court at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. Before the court appeared the former prime minister and his spouse.
