All of Serene Air’s domestic and international flight operations have been suspended by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), which has suspended the airline’s Air Operators Certificate.
Serene Air no longer satisfies the standards for safe flight operations, the regulator claims. Its whole fleet of aircraft has been deemed unsuitable for flight. The certificate has been ordered to be suspended immediately.
Serene Air’s management has been notified in writing by the director of flight standards for the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. The airline has been ordered to return its Air Operators Certificate by the authority.
Serene aviation has “failed” to adhere to the norms and regulations governing aviation operations, according to the authority.
