Caitlin Clark put on an amazing shooting show that broke yet another WNBA rookie record.
Clark broke the WNBA record for the most points scored by a rookie in a single season with a career-high 35 points. When Seimone Augusts scored 744 points in her rookie season with the Minnesota Lynx eighteen years ago, she raised the standard.
Clark finished with 761 points as Indiana secured the victory. She made 10 of her 22 field goals, including six 3-pointers. She added three steals, eight assists, and a 3-pointer that broke the rookie record.
At the break, Kelsey Mitchell and Clark each had fifteen points. Mitchell scored thirty points in the end. With 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, Aliyah Boston led the team.
During the majority of the game, Dallas had Indiana under control. The Wings had a two-point advantage going into the half. The third quarter began with a trade of baskets between the two teams, with the Fever leading by one at the half.
