The Chinese corporation Sing Ying has pledged to invest $37 million in expanding donkey breeding throughout Pakistan, marking a first for the country.
Establishing 40 specialist farms and a laboratory to improve breeding from a scientific standpoint are part of the idea.
$37 million was invested on donkey farming.
The farms would be established in various parts of Pakistan with the aim of producing 80,000 donkeys annually, according to Ministry of Food Security sources. Officials think that Pakistan might join the global donkey supply chain and create new commercial opportunities through methodical and scientific breeding.
