RAWALPINDI: According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir promised the people of Balochistan on Friday that the armed forces and law enforcement agencies will back them in their efforts for peace and prosperity in the province.
“The success of Balochistan reflects the success of Pakistan. The people of Pakistan are proud of Balochistan’s heroic people, who have stood up despite all circumstances. The Pakistani Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies will continue to provide assistance to the people of Balochistan in their quest for peace and prosperity, according to the army chief.
The army chief made these remarks during a visit to the Awaran district of Balochistan, where he was briefed on the security situation.
According to the military’s media wing, the army commander was also informed about the Pakistan Army’s efforts to promote socioeconomic development and agriculture in Balochistan.
During his visit to Awaran, COAS Munir talked with the local elders, farmers, and families of Shuhada, assuring them of the army’s unwavering support for their security and wellbeing while paying rich respect to the martyrs.
