Today at 12:30 PM, the National Assembly and Senate will reconvene as the government persists in presenting significant constitutional reforms pertaining to the judiciary.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the two coalition parties in power, have urged their supporters to attend, emphasizing the significance of the impending proceedings.

Additionally, the draft bill on judicial reforms will be approved by the federal cabinet, which will meet today at 10:30 am. The chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has expressed reservations, nevertheless, which have clouded the government’s ability to reach an agreement on these measures.
