Following the denial of the 2024 presumed presidential nominee’s and his attorneys’ motion for a mistrial due to the scandalous and “unnecessary” testimony of adult film actress Stormy Daniels, the extraordinary criminal trial of the former president Trump continues on Thursday morning with her cross-examination.
According to reports, Trump’s legal team is preparing a more thorough examination of the wild card witness.
Regarding the 34 counts of first-degree business record fabrication, Trump has entered a not guilty plea. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office conducted a year-long investigation that led to the charges.
Charges stem from purported payments made to Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election in order to keep her quiet about an alleged extramarital affair she had with Trump in 2006.
