As the nation observed Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir on Monday, Pakistan’s senior leadership denounced India’s unlawful occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
The leaders of the armed forces, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the CJCSC, and the chiefs of services stated that the people of Kashmir have been waiting for the UN to fulfill its grave obligations for the last seven decades.
According to them, it is imperative that the international community put pressure on India to stop violating human rights in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to put the pertinent UN Security Council resolutions into effect.
According to President Zardari, Pakistan will keep supporting the legitimate fight of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the realization of their unalienable right to self-determination with all of its moral, diplomatic, and political might.
