According to reports, the Faizabad Dharna Commission has completed its investigation and prepared its final report, which has been presented to the Cabinet Division by chairman Akhtar Ali Shah.
According to reports, the commission’s report includes comments from 27 significant figures and calls for action against numerous individuals accused of mishandling the sit-in. The committee has also named people responsible for the protest’s ineffective management.
According to insiders, the commission’s final report includes a number of suggestions targeted at averting similar situations in the future. According to the statement, the chief executive took all decisions about the sit-in on behalf of the province administration.
According to sources, the commission’s findings include reports from intelligence agencies such as the Intelligence Bureau (IB), police, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
The commission’s report also includes reports from the government and the Special Branch. According to reports, the commission has recorded comments from various retired military and civilian officers as part of its inquiry.
It is likely that the federal government would file the report with the Supreme Court.
