With Derrick Henry having a monster game with 199 yards on 24 runs and an 87-yard score to start the Ravens’ offensive drive, the league’s greatest rushing offense was back in action.
Henry spotted daylight and didn’t waste it, hitting the Jets down the right sideline for a franchise-best 87 yards with the score after receiving a fantastic block from fullback Patrick Ricard.
The runs were keeping the Bills from having an answer for Henry the entire night.
In addition to Henry’s dominance, quarterback Lamar Jackson was also producing results with his legs. On six carries, he gained 54 yards of total yardage and scored a touchdown on the ground.
Even though running back Justice Hill only managed 14 yards on the ground, Jackson relied heavily on him in the passing game, finding him six times for a total of 78 yards and a touchdown.
