Sir Ringo Starr has said that he enjoys performing live because it gives him a rush.
For nearly forty years, the legendary member of the Beatles has dominated stages, and he has no immediate intentions to retire.
Before embarking on his most recent US tour with his All Starr Band, Ringo addressed a crowd of media at Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater, saying: “We have to tour to get the pleasure of playing to people.” I adore performing live.
Since 1989, I’ve been doing this, and it always works. “This group of guys, including myself, were in their own bands, and we are a band,” he continued.
