After shedding more than thirty pounds, Ricki Lake wrote about her weight reduction experience for the first time.
Lake,55, disclosed that she turned down Ozempic’s offer of assistance after a doctor forced it upon her.
According to Lake, “the doctor was pushing it for people who were overweight,” during an appearance on “Good Morning America.” And, essentially, what he was saying to me was that you couldn’t succeed without it. I also enjoy a challenge. Furthermore, I enjoy disproving others. And that pissed me off. I simply wanted to do it on my own and was hesitant.”
This is the “best” Lake has ever felt in her life, she said.
“I have this new marriage, and I’m so blissfully happy with this amazing man,” she stated. “My ideal partner. And you know, if I had to pick one thing that wasn’t working in our lives, it would be the excess weight we were carrying.
