QUETTA: Regarding the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) endorsement of the constitutional package, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the party’s chairman, stated on Tuesday that his organization has up to now accepted the government’s suggestion to establish a federal constitutional court.
Speaking at the Balochistan High Court (BHC) Bar in Quetta, Bilawal stated that his party would not object if the nation’s two most senior justices presided over the constitutional court.
“After thirty years of struggle, we have decided to form a constitutional court,” he declared, clarifying that his fight for the constitutional change was not directed towards Qazi Faez Isa, the chief justice at the moment. “Your agenda could be a person-specific, not mine,” he stated.
