LONDON: A medical tribunal has heard that Dr. Suhail Anjum, a married Pakistani physician, had sex with a nurse in an operating room while a patient was sedated.
The 44-year-old doctor and the anonymous nurse were discovered in a “compromising position” by a “shocked” coworker at Tameside Hospital who happened to walk in on them.
Halfway through the procedure, the male patient needed a comfort break, so the consultant anesthetist asked another nursing colleague to keep an eye on him.
Rather, Dr. Anjum had sex with “nurse C” in another operation room at the hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
