According to the United States, President Donald Trump “feels very badly” about the action, which Israel stated “does not advance Israel or America’s goals” by striking Hamas sites in Qatar.
During a briefing on Tuesday, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt issued a statement from Trump. It stated that Israel’s attack against Hamas, which was “very unfortunately” occurring in the capital Doha, was reported to the US.
It called Qatar “a sovereign nation and close ally of the United States that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker peace” .
Hamas claimed that its leadership team survived the attack, although six individuals were killed, including one member of the Qatari security forces.
