A severe warning has been given to Prince William and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton on their reputation for balancing work and home life, which has allowed their detractors to characterize them as “lazy.”
The future UK king and queen are reported to have attended 172 and 123 engagements in 2023, respectively, by GB News. A royal analyst claims that Prince William was giving his family’s needs top priority.

“The danger for them is that even though this is almost certainly motivated by prioritizing their home life, it has enabled their critics to paint them as lazy,” royal expert Gareth Russell said in an interview with GB News.
“At the moment, it can take a long time to ignore that reputation.”
Gareth Russell went on to say that Prince William and Kate Middleton were anticipated to be the “star players and to be the star attraction for positive publicity” due to the challenges the monarchy has faced recently.

The British journalist and historian added that there was a chance Kate and William would let their detractors to tell their story if they were less visible.
