Following an extension of his deadline to pay the bond in the New York civil fraud case, former US President Donald Trump disclosed his future plans.
Trump stated on Monday that he “might” use his personal funds for the 2024 presidential campaign—something he hasn’t done since 2016, according to News.
At his 40 Wall Street skyscraper in Lower Manhattan, Trump told reporters, “I might do that,” but he also said, “It’s none of your business.”
Trump declared, “I have a great company and a lot of cash.” “I might spend a lot of money on my campaign.”
The 77-year-old Republican front-runner for president disclosed that he does not want to use his money for his campaign. This comes from New York Judge Arthur F. Engoron, who decided that Trump would be required to pay a $464 million verdict in the state’s civil fraud case.
Saying, “They don’t want me taking cash out,” Trump appeared to be alluding to Engoron as well as Attorney General of New York Letitia James.
Following his departure from Manhattan court for a hearing in his criminal case in New York, where Judge Juan Merchan decreed that the trial will start on April 15, Trump made these remarks.
