Senator Irfan Siddiqui of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stated on Wednesday that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), has expressed worries regarding the elections.
“The matter regarding the constitutional amendment and other matters were discussed during the meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman,” Siddiqui said in a statement to the media after his meeting with Rehman. Fazlur Rehman supports the constitutional court with a rally.
“The image will be cleared within the next two weeks,” he stated.
Talking about the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Siddiqui said: “The PTI leaders should wait for few days.”
“Is it necessary to stage protests, especially when something good happens in the country?” Siddiqui questioned the PTI.
“It would be better if the PTI stopped practicing holding protests.
