The actress, who has married seven different men, is the focus of a new HBO documentary called “Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes.” The video describes the Oscar winner’s life and loves in her own words, based on a recently found series of honest interviews.
Taylor said in the documentary how her love affair with “Cleopatra” co-star Richard Burton prompted the Vatican to launch a scathing attack.

Taylor fell in love with Burton while still married to her fourth husband, pop star Eddie Fisher. The tabloids revealed their on-set affair in 1962, shortly after Fisher split from his wife Debbie Reynolds to marry Taylor. Burton was then married to his first wife, Sybil Williams.
