Given that Kate Middleton is still battling an unidentified type of cancer, her summer will look considerably different this year.
The mother of three intends to make this summer “memorable” for her three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 7. This is according to a royal insider who spoke with Closer Weekly recently.
“The summer is when Kate just wants the kids to be kids and get to be a little freer,” according to a source. “And this summer, more than ever, is going to be all about the kids.”
Unlikely to attend, Kate Middleton feels “no pressure” to make a royal return. Author of “The King,” Christopher Andersen, stated to News that summers have always been essential for it.
The successor to the British throne is Prince William. Giving their kids as much normalcy as they can while shielding them from the prying eyes of the media has always been their aim.
“Kate and William have always made the most of their summers with the children,” Andersen stated. Kate has always been sporty, which is one of the things that initially drew William to her. When it comes to playing games and competing in races with the kids, she’s always been right in the thick of things. She has always put herself into all of the kids’ activities and is highly competitive.”
