Based on Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland novel, Paul Thomas Anderson’s eagerly awaited action thriller One Battle After Another stars the 50-year-old actor.
The narrative centers on Bob, a disillusioned communist who lives in stoned paranoia with his independent daughter Willa. Father and daughter must face the repercussions of their past when Willa vanishes and his enemy reappears.
DiCaprio described the movie as “uniquely crafted and specialized” for the big screen in a recent interview with Variety.
