But Minaj had been detained at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on suspicion of having “soft drugs” and hadn’t been freed until 9 p.m., which was when the concert was supposed to begin.
Her supporters, dubbed Barbz, assert that once they entered the building, security personnel informed them she was already inside. However, promoter Live Nation announced the event’s cancellation at 9:40 p.m.
