The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has detained a phony martial arts team that was trying to go to Russia in another instance of fraudulent travel under the pretense of sports. This occurs soon after a case involving a phony football squad that was similar.
At the Faisalabad airport, five people were released.
Five travelers acting as martial arts athletes were detained at the airport in Faisalabad as they boarded flight FZ-392, an FIA spokeswoman said. Allegedly, the party was traveling under the guise of competing in Russian martial arts tournaments.
Passengers discovered to be ignorant about martial arts
None of the passengers knew anything about martial arts, according to the preliminary investigation. Muhammad Suleman, Samiullah, Shahzeb Khan, Abdul Wahab, and Iqbal Murtaza were all from Rawalpindi.
