RAWALPINDI: Firebrand Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Sher Afzal Marwat declared on Saturday that he had resolved disagreements with party leaders following a meeting with Imran Khan, the party’s imprisoned founder.
“I had my meeting with Imran Khan today, which was three months overdue,” Marwat told reporters outside the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. “I shook hands with him, and the PTI founder hugged me,” he continued. Both parties exchanged grievances with one another.”
After a few months of intense verbal sparring with other party officials, the PTI MP in the National Assembly declared that he was putting aside his disagreement with the party on Khan’s directives and assurance.
