ISLAMABAD: In response to recent floods, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended the deadline for Hajj pilgrims to register under the private program.
Ministry sources say the official web platform is where the registration procedure continues. In the past, pilgrims had to finish registering by September 8.
Over 21,000 pilgrims have successfully registered thus far. According to sources, private Hajj operators are required to give preference to people who finished the procedure but were unable to perform the Hajj last year.
Additionally, new applications from private operators will be accepted against any unused quota.
