After suffering a heart arrest at Legoland Windsor last week, a five-month-old infant passed away in the hospital.
Following the event, which occurred on Thursday, May 2, at around 1:00 pm, the child’s condition was severe.
On Friday, a 27-year-old Witham, Essex, woman was taken into custody on suspicion of intentionally injuring a child via neglect.
The woman is free on police bond through July 26.
Authorities have encouraged the public to “avoid speculation about the incident and to respect the boy’s family at this deeply upsetting time” and stated that they are not searching for any further suspects.
According to authorities today, the baby boy passed away on Sunday at the hospital.
Detective Constable Zoe Eele, the Child Abuse Investigation Unit’s investigative officer, stated: “We are looking into it.
