Following the purported AS Level exam leak by Cambridge International Education, the CIE has issued a warning that phony posts are being shared as official comments on social media and WhatsApp groups.
The CIE stated on Facebook on Saturday that “official updates and information are only communicated through our official Facebook page and official communication channels with schools, directly or through British Council.”
It advised individuals to exercise caution when it came to the veracity of messages they got from other sources.
Prior to their April 2 exam, students had already reported on social media, particularly in Facebook groups, that the “AS Level Mathematics Paper” had been leaked online.
They had worked diligently for their exams, therefore they regretted the leak and called it a shameful affair.
The CIE “launched an inquiry” into the AS paper leak following the appearance of such accusations and associated controversy on the internet.
