The group announced on Thursday night that they will no longer be performing this weekend at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in a post on their official Instagram page.
The band’s lead singer, Dave Grohl, announced to his followers on Instagram earlier this month that he had “recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.”.
He is well-known for being “the nicest guy in rock” and, along with his wife Jordyn Blum, has three daughters.
“I love my family,” declared the 55-year-old former drummer of Nirvana, adding that he was doing “everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”.
He added that he wants to provide his new kid with “loving and supportive parenting.”
