The ruling alliance’s top leaders decided to keep their ranks quiet after weeks of heated arguments, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday.
This comes after a delegation from the ruling PML-N, headed by Senator Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister, visited Zardari House in Nawabshah earlier today and met with President and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
In the huddle, both parties decided to put a stop to their public dispute.
According to a PPP statement, Shehbaz and Bilawal spoke over the phone today on the current political climate, the flood, and foreign policy initiatives.
