According to the news, the order was obtained on March 7 and, on March 20, police requested assistance from the public in locating Sutton.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) in Tampa said on Sunday that Sutton, 29, had been placed under arrest.
Allegations of domestic violence by strangling are made against Sutton.
The defensive back was cut by the Lions on March 21 after the police appeal.
The HSCO stated that although his lawyer had stated that his client intended to turn himself in to Tampa police on March 25, he failed to show up at Orient Road Jail until 8:24 p.m. local time on Sunday.
