RAWALPINDI: On Tuesday, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), a suicide bomber and three other terrorists were killed.
In today’s intelligence-driven operation in the tribal district of KP, security forces and militants exchanged gunfire, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Four terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were slain following a fierce gunfight. From dead terrorists, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also found.
The terrorists who were murdered were still actively engaged in many terrorist attacks against security personnel, according to the military’s media wing. They also had plans to carry out a high-profile terrorist attack, but security personnel prevented it.
There is a sanitization effort underway to get rid of any other terrorists.
